Helping clients figure out their online needs takes up most of the day here at Spadewerk. I assist clients with a whole range of issues, from the basics of setting up their website hosting, to choosing which application to use to drive the company network and manage their website.

There is an answer for every question, and an array of solutions depending on the scale of your project. If you just want to chat about possibilities, that’s okay too.

I Design & Build Websites

I often say that I am a designer by education and a developer by trade. Website design is still part of what I love to do and once the design is done I can plug in a system that will allow you to make those day-to-day updates yourself. I also work in collaboration with a number of other talented designers, programmers and project managers. This communication and sharing of ideas can make a good project great.

I Help Set up Social Networks

Social networking is more than keeping friends up-to-date on your weekend plans. A network can act as your organization’s meeting place to share ideas or your company’s online space to keep the contact list and important documents. Spadewerk’s networking tool of choice is Elgg, and with it we can build an online space capable of handling thousands of users, groups, files and documents. I Keep Websites Running Smoothly

Proper maintenance is the key to keeping a website running smoothly but the reality is that sometimes there isn’t the time, skill, or resources available in-house to make this happen. I have been providing outsourced website maintenance to clients for over a decade and I pride myself on being responsive, quick, and efficient.

Send Your Own Email Campaigns

Spadewerk can help you design and distribute your own email campaigns and newsletters. I’ll work with you on design, messaging, list management, and provide you with a system to allow you to send out your own campaigns and track campaign statistics. You can use these email campaigns for everything from the monthly newsletter to sending out the yearly Christmas card.
