King of the short print run

Printing With Moo

Having redesigned the Spadewerk website a few months ago, I felt it was time to redesign my business cards to maintain brand consistency, and work up this year’s company holiday card while I was at it. There’s some irony to this as I’ve probably only given out a half dozen business cards in the last five years, but best to be prepared, right?

This infrequent printing need is why I love Moo. They are the king of the short print run. Not only do they make it easy to whip off 50 business cards (about $30 with shipping) but you could put a different image on every card if you wanted to. While I recognize that with printing anything, it’s always cheaper to purchase in quantity, there are plenty like me who order in smaller numbers. Have no fear though, Moo has a 200 pack for those of you who press a lot of flesh.

For the Spadewerk holiday card this year I wanted to do something a little different than the traditional tenting fold. I considered a postcard format but that still wasn’t quite what I was looking for. What I went with instead was the Moo Notecard format, which has this cool little perforation on one side that allows it to be bent into a stand. Just the ticket.
