Brandon here. I am a graphic designer by education and a web developer by trade. For the past 10 years I have been designing and building websites for companies and organizations trying to make the world a better place.

I had an epiphany about 3 years ago and realized that I could combine my love for technology with my love for the simple life. I sold up in the big city, packed up the pets, and moved across the country with my steady girl to a small village in Nova Scotia, Canada. I set up shop in the attic of a 150 year old cottage and this is where the Spadewerk office resides today. Some days I miss Starbucks but the fresh air makes up for it.

I spend my days researching and implementing web-based technologies for a series of clients around North America. I pride myself on being able to deliver technical information in a way that people can understand and do this by keeping the tech-speak to a minimum. It is your website after all, shouldn’t you know what goes into it?
