Time to Change Hosts
I made the decision today to pack up the Spadewerk site, and all the little bits and pieces that go with it, and move it over to Media Temple. I would like to tell you that I was swayed by their fancy website and dreamy UI but it’s their scalable service that finally won me over.

Imitation … Sincerity … Flattery
A colleague recently spun me an email to let me know that someone on Scriptlance was looking for a clone of my website. I wasn’t actually too fussed about this as I leave my Creative Commons license pretty open, and I was thinking about redesigning my website anyway. What I did wonder, however, was why the individual didn’t just ask me for my files? Depending on my mood, or how many pints I had in me, I likely would have given them over and may have even thrown my source files in if I was feeling particularly light-headed.
What I have decided to do is rewrite things a little and release this design as a Wordpress theme for others to use. I have designed a couple of dozen Wordpress CMS websites over the last few years but have never released a blog theme and it’s time that I did. I’m getting excited about this one.
