Brandon here. I am a graphic designer by education and a web developer by trade.
For the past 10 years I have been designing and building websites for companies and organizations trying to make the world a better place.
I had an epiphany about 3 years ago and realized that I could combine my love for technology with my love for the simple life. I sold up in the big city, packed up the pets, and moved across the country with my steady girl to a small village in Nova Scotia, Canada. I set up shop in the attic of a 150 year old cottage and this is where the Spadewerk office resides today.

Technical Advice
Helping clients figure out their online needs takes up most of the day here at Spadewerk. I assist clients with a whole range of issues, from the basics of setting up their website hosting, to choosing which application to use to drive the company intranet and manage their website.

I often say that I am a designer by education and a developer by trade. Website design is still part of what I love to do and once the design is done I can plug in a system that will allow you to make those day-to-day updates yourself.
